Join the InfoSec Cohort (Pilot Program)
Are you struggling to break into the industry and are at a loss of what to do? Submit an application to join the next cohort to collaborate with your peers, me and other InfoSec professionals to help you cross that chasm into your first role.

Shooting for March 13 Bi-weekly group meetings(1-hr) To discuss whatever the group would like to chat about. This could be taking a look at everyone's resumes, conducting mock interviews, or training about a specific topic Discord Server To continue the discussion, share links, and build a community. |

Qualifications
1. Participants must have at least one cyber security focused industry-standard certification (Sec+, CySA, SSCP, CEH, GSEC, etc.)
This is required because chances of you landing your first role without a certification are very slim and as part of my roadmap, this is the very first step. The purpose of the cohort isn't to teach Sec+ materials but to expand upon foundational knowledge, therefore you must have a good foundation to build from.
2. Participants must be fluent in verbal and written English
I hate to say no to people but, this is a collaborative effort and participates need to be able to communicate easily with each other. If this pilot is a success, I will seek out others from around the world in different languages to help lead their own programs.
3. Participants of the pilot program need to be U.S.-based
My reasoning is that the industry isn't the same across the globe and I do not know those other markets. So to say that my method works anywhere outside the U.S. would be misleading. Like in qualification 2, if the pilot program works, I will expand it out to other regions with the help of my peers.
4. Participants cannot have already obtained an InfoSec role or internship
This program is not for you. You should be doing fine if you have either of these.
5. Participants must be able to attend most meetings
To get the most out of the program, you have to be there. Someone else could be benefiting from the spot you have taken.
